Screen Acting: An Introduction

A workshop for professional actors who wants a basic introduction to screen acting for Film.

Led by Irish Film Director — Yvonne McDevitt — this applied workshop
will explore:

• How to build a good creative relationship with your director
• How to understand exactly what is required of you as an actor for film
• How to prepare yourself for camera
• How to improvise for camera
• How to work with other actors on camera
• How to maximise your potential on film
• How to get acting work in independent films both in the US and
  internationally

The workshop places a detailed focus on the individual actor and how they can get the best out of themselves on screen. It will give you a basic, and applied introduction to acting for film, using cutting-edge digital film equipment and technology. (Suitable for beginners.)

Preparation:
No preparation is needed for this workshop, nor is it necessary to do any further work between the workshop days.
